Konnichiwa/Konbawa/Ohaiyou ^_^

Today Reporter Liting and the not-here reporter Carine will be reporting about Okonomiyaki or Okos

First let me tell you what is okonomiyaki is:

Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi meaning "What you like." or "What you want." Yaki meaning "grilled" or "cooked".

Kansai (Osaka)-style okonomiyaki is the predominant style of the dish, found throughout most of Japan. The batter is made of flour, grated yam, water or dashi, eggs and shredded cabbage, and usually contains other ingredients such as green onion, meat(generally pork or bacon), octopus, squid, shrimp, vegetables, kimchi, mochi or cheese.

The one we ate was mostly the Osaka style. Kansai dialect ~~

Mine was the Pork Okonomiyaki or Pork Okos

Review: I put too much fishflakes T_T But overall the smell was amazing. It really hit me when the waitress serve it to us. "Umai sou" we had it before we even tasted it. So we had to do the traditional way of cutting it up into 8 pieces and eating it one by one. *Take one bite cover my mouth* YOU WILL DEFINETLY LIKE IT!~ Okos is now one of my favorite Jap food following closely is Curry Rice then KatsuDon.

Carine one was the moonlight okonomiyaki or Moonlight Okos

Review: It's very similar to the Katsu okos. The only difference was the egg and katsu okos had meat while moonlight okos is fully cabbage. Demo, Okomiyaki oishii desu ^^

I had my okonomiyka unfinished >.< I was soooooo full but only Carine know that I'm lying at the full part ^^~ I could finish my tongari corn and Jagabee. Okay I get easily full while eating Jap food. Thats my weaknessT_T

& carine wanted to "suan" me cos she ate finish her Okos. Usually it's the other way round where I can finish my food and she mostly can't.

I know my review is short so you have to wait for the next one. Katsudon probably?
